A RARE 11mm GRAS BOLT ACTION CADET RIFLE, serial no 394, circa 1881, with 27 1/2" barrel having a block and blade front-sight and reduced proportion ladder rear-sight, the action dated 1881, regulation iron mounted full walnut stock with two barrel bands, the rifle is complete with its sling swivels, rod missing. Barrel, action and bands to a grey / brown patina with some staining, and light to medium pitting in places, the stock with some worm. These Gras cadet rifles were made in relatively small numbers consequently are very rare today.
